To become an economic force establishing the Kingdom of God and fulfilling the mandate set in Genesis 1:28. "Then God blessed them and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over fish of the sea, birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'"

"Together everyone achieves more.”  These words, spoken in a recent seminar on servant leadership, struck a chord. We have all experienced team work and know from that experience it has its pros and cons. Teamwork requires individuals to work together while combating a diversity of differences such as experience, cultural perspective, values, beliefs, strengths and weaknesses.

Whether leading or following, working alone or as a team, it is important to learn to serve others while expecting nothing in return, or rather serving from the heart. When we can learn to appreciate and respect the diversity in others and to use the unique talents and gifts of each, the result is a greater potential for accomplishing more.
