| Kimberly C. Thomas currently serves as CEO of Global Advisors Network, a referral-only organization which consults for and with organizations in the areas of Government, Security, Education and Commerce. Ms. Thomas has worked for a broad spectrum of organizations, primarily at senior-level management, varying from privately held to public corporations, as well as non-profit organizations.
Ms. Thomas began her management career over 23 years ago working for such companies as Avant Garde, a multi-unit boutique retailer in Dallas, Texas; The Sharper Image headquarters in San Francisco, California during the company’s most aggressive real estate expansion campaign; then continued in the retail real estate industry as Director of Operations for The Harberg Masinter Company, a retail real estate consulting firm servicing high-profile retailers such as Waterford Wedgwood, Scandia Down, and JCPenney’s specialty store line. Subsequently, Ms. Thomas worked for Stanford Trading Company where she directed pharmaceutical sales to hospitals in Saudi Arabia working with governmental agencies, airlines and shipping companies.
In 2001, Ms. Thomas began her tenure as Chief Operating Office for Christian International Ministries focused on organizational restructuring for which proposed goals and strategies were specifically designed to stimulate global interest in the organization, focus on donor development and increase financial support and stabilize operations. Subsequently, Ms. Thomas was recruited by and served as President for USA BABY, a $100 million dollar franchise operation with over 60 units in the United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Specific tasks were to oversee internal operations, legal matters, and build infrastructure for growth.
Ms. Thomas serves and has served on various boards, advisory councils, and committees: Visionary Council of Walton County Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s leadership program, Co-chair Mentor Committee; Board of Directors, Christian International School of Theology. She teaches leadership classes at Christian International School of Theology’s Ministry Training College and is a featured guest speaker at a variety of conferences, universities and women’s meetings. Ms. Thomas has authored articles for various periodicals and has been featured in Oklahoma Woman magazine, which focused on the professional successes of “40-something” women.
Ms. Thomas received her formal education in the areas of Political Science/PreLaw from Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor of Ministry Degree from Christian International School of Theology.
Ms. Thomas and her husband have two grown children and divides her time between residences and work in Dallas, Texas, Florida, and Washington DC.
